Actioning re-work requests

The rework and revision system involves having writers revise their content deliverables to either correct errors or improve the content based on the client’s requirements and meet Pepper’s quality criteria before they go through editing.

A re-work request is an editing assignment that is assigned to an editor after the assignment has been re-worked by a writer. Although we aim to allot re-works to the same editor who worked on the assignment previously, this may not always be possible.

When you receive a rework request, please follow the steps below to work on the re-worked assignment

  • Accept the assignment

  • Check the feedback provided by the client and make changes per the instructions/feedback

  • Recheck the content in purview of the brief to ensure that all of the client’s requirements have been met

  • ensure that the content is grammatical, well-structured, and consistent

  • Submit the assignments once you are sure that the content is error-free and submission-ready.
